This course will be run as 2 weekends (Sat-Sun) in Malvern, Worcestershire by David Wilkinson.
This course is designed to give a thorough grounding in anatomy, physiology and kinesiology for prospective Yoga Teachers, focusing on the musculoskeletal system. It is a requirement that trainees who wish to pursue the Art of Teaching Yoga training course will complete this A&P course either prior to, or whilst completing, the Yoga Teacher training. This course would also be suitable for existing Yoga Teachers who would like to refresh or expand their A&P knowledge, or indeed keen yoga students who are simply interested in understanding more about the body. The course will include assessment of course material through workbooks for notes and home study.
There is a further 2 weekend course, Further A&P for Yoga Teachers, that addresses the other systems of the body. This course is recommended, but is not essential, for trainees on Art of Teaching Yoga course. It is, however, essential for trainees pursuing the Art of Individual Teaching course. When scheduled, the Further A&P For Yoga Teachers will appear as a separate event.

This course will be run from The Barn, in Hanley Swan, near Great Malvern. This venue is a beautiful Yoga space in a rural location just 15 min from the M5 junctions 7 & 8, and close to Great Malvern station (short taxi ride). Great Malvern is directly accessible by rail from London Paddington and Birmingham. Accommodation is readily available close to the venue.
