We have now started the Taunton teacher training course and are looking towards the next course in Cardiff next year. We are also inviting applications for the next Art of Individual Teaching course in Malvern due to commence in February 2012.

Nirodha is the definition of Yoga given by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutra and thus is a fundamental concept in the theory and practice of Yoga. In this retreat we discussed the different levels of nirodha as presented in the Yoga Sutra and Vyasaa's commentary,
and explored how this may be supported in a practical way during practice. The practices varied from a "naked" asana practice emphasising the literal stillness and form of the body, to more elaborate bhavana rich practices. We always feel very welcome in Dublin and this retreat
was no exception, so thank you to everyone who partcipated and particularly to Eleanor and Hanne who made it possible. We are looking forward to Dublin next year and Parinama!

• Art of Individual Teaching: Malvern February 2012
We have now scheduled the next AIT to commence in Malvern in February 2012. The course list is growing and we are now urgently accepting applications. So if you are interested in working individually with students and applying Yoga therapeutically, and are committed to the vinyoga approach, get in touch asap.
• IW Induction Training
A number of teachers have now completed the training to teach the aYs/Sadhana Mala Beyond Asana introductory workshops. These are a great way to get started studying Yoga beyond your regular group class, so look out for these and move "beyond asana".
• Sadhana Mala Art of Teaching Yoga Cardiff
Sadhana Mala is intending to run a Teacher Training Course in Cardiff in June 2012. As a preliminary we are offering the Art of Yoga, effectively a foundation course, from Nov 2011 - there is just about time to still enrol! Alternatively get in touch if you are interested in the June teacher training.
• Funky Guru Publications
Following on from the great success of our first 6 publications, we are still working om more FG monographs. So, coming soon we have: 12 Stories for Yoga Teachers, The Subtle Body Part 2, and The History of Yoga. For the time being these have to be ordered direct from us, but the Funky Guru website is coming.
• Dublin Teacher Training
This course is now successfully underway and represents our second course is Ireland.
