A CPD weekend aimed primarily at AYS Practitioners, Sadhana Mala AIT Graduates or equivalent
Mindfulness is definitely "of the moment" and has gained mainstream acceptance in many fields. However, in many ways, the fundamental ideas are not new and are completely in harmony with the basic principles of Yoga practice. This CPD event will focus both on integrating seated mindful meditation practice and bringing mindfulness directly into our asana and pranayama practice. We will explore what is generally understood as mindfulness and supporting ideas from the Yoga Sutra will also be included. There will be an optional early morning practice on the Sunday morning. Please note: this is not a training in Mindfulness, but an exploration of "Mindfulness" ideas within Yoga practice.
